Equations Containing Radicals
For an equation containing radicals, raising both sides to the power necessary to eliminate the radical(s) will enabled the equation to be solved.
For some cases containing multiple radicals, it will be necessary to raise an equation to the appropriate power more than once.
Any solution attained should be checked in original equation as raising both sides of an equation such as squaring may introduce additional solutions, which do not satisfy the original equation.
