Prime Numbers
A prime number is a whole number greater than 1 whole number factors are limited to 1 and the number itself. As an example, the only factors of 7 are:
1 and 7
Using the same definition as above, the first ten prime numbers may be written as:
2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29
Note: The number 1 is not defined as a prime number.
